Welcome to the website of Oxfordshire Birmans.
Oxfordshire Birmans have the GCCF registered prefix of Tianadara. Breeding Birman Cats and Kittens for health and temperament we occasionally have Birman Kittens for sale to permanent loving homes
I have always wanted to breed from cats, but work and family commitments previously never permitted this. I was introduced to Birmans 10 years ago by a friend and it was definitely love at first sight.
For me, Birmans are one of the most engaging, characterful and endearing breeds; not only interesting in their history but they are wonderfully mesmerising with their huge deep blue eyes and almost dog-like loyalty.
I was lucky enough to purchase Lucy, a sublime cream point kitten with an attitude to die for. She has now had several litters from which I have kept a number of her daughters, from various litters. Lucy has since gone into retirement, and been successfully re-homed with a lovely family who have one of her kittens from a couple of years ago. I keep in constant contact with all new owners, and this family fell in love with my beautiful Lucy so much, they jumped at the chance to take her in – I feel this is testament in itself as to how endearing their personalities are! Lucy was, and still is, my little star! Her girls however, have all proven to be amazing pets, amazing mothers, and beyond beautiful!
To meet them please view my ‘Queens’ page.
As you can see in the pictures, all my kittens are bought up in a home environment, so are accepting of both small children, and other pets – we have a King Charles Cavalier who just loves to get involved with playtime, and a new Granddaughter who just loves to pet them! We believe that a well raised kitten makes for a loving family addition, and being raised in the family environment, they leave me as an extremely tolerant and affectionate little addition to your family!
